Virtual disk

You have a virtual disk on Mailo. You can use it to store documents and access them from any computer with an Internet access.

To use the Cloud, that is to store online the files, images and documents which you can need anywhere and at any time, just like files which you would have stored on an USB stick.

Files stored on the Mailo virtual disk are secure and can be accessed from anywhere, through a computer, a tablet or a smartphone. You can also create a shortcut to the Mailo virtual disk on your computer's desktop to access it as if it were a local hard disk.

The virtual disk has a capacity of 500 MB for Mailo Free accounts and 5 GB for Mailo Premium accounts. This capacity can be expanded up to 500 GB with the Premium+ packs, with which the storage space is shared between the mail and the virtual disk.

The virtual disk where the documents and/or photos are stored can be reached:

  • in the webmail
  • with an FTP client or software
  • with a WebDAV client or software

You can share any directory of your virtual disk with other users, even if they do not have a Mailo e-mail address. Other Mailo users can also share documents from their virtual disk with you.
